Looking quite splendid after a $22 million restoration, Cape May's Congress Hall wore festive Holiday Red lampshades and red pointsettia's which played nicely against aqua walls and checkered floor.

BASEBALL WEDDING AT THE FOUR SEASONS BALTIMORE
Baseball place names, groomsmen in black tie and knickerbockers, and the Groom pitching to his Bride on top of the Wedding Cake ... and the Bride's sister and her husband holding their on month old twins next to the cake ... a lovely lovely wedding ... and I do like painting at the Four Seasons Hotels ... service and backup are fantastic

RENAISSANCE WEDDING WITH HERALDS, LUTE, FEAST AND MERRIMENT
Who knew you could turn The Grand Colonial Inn into a Mediaevil Baronial Manor Hall - with rich velvets, jewel colors and a black and white floor ... a courtly setting for a stunning Bride and Groom who love Merry Olde England's courtly feasting. Catherine Gretta did an amazing job bringing this vision to life ~ from the pageantry of a royal wedding ceremony to the feasting and merriment afterwards. The Bridal Party was announced by Heralds, and escorted by young squires and maidens with posies. Oh yes ... and for entertainment during dinner ... a live bebop group... my kind of music. For the rest of the evening DJ Steve Mittman was the Court's TuneMeister. Photography by Joe Craig.

MARRIED WITH SHARKS ... LIVE EVENT PAINTING AT AQUARIUM WEDDING
How cool was this ... this wedding reception was held in the Shark Room at the Adventure Aquarium in Camden and I was absolutley delighted to be able to paint it for the wedding couple. The cake is decorated with corals and seashells, and the favors were little goldfish bowls with treats such as gummy sharks, M and M's in ocean colors. DJ D.s.sence was played some terric music with a jazzy vibe that I hadn't heard before and LOVED.
PAINTING LIVE AT AN ITALIAN/PORTUGUESE WEDDING
My adorable Italian Bride knew she wanted me to paint for her as soon as she saw my website ... and I was DELIGHTED to be able to capture memories for her and her Portuguese Groom. An added bonus for me was that all the grandmothers and the great grandmother gave me kisses when I painted them, and grand pappy was added from an iphone, since he was unfortunately in hospital. The venue was Primavera Regency in Stirling NJ. This was my second Italian/Portuguese Wedding this Fall.

Another stunning wedding by Catherine Gretta - as I was painting the Groomsmen starting hoofing to New York, New York from Chorus Line ... Cocktails and dancing were in the Four Seasons Room, with dinner in the adjoining room.

PAINTING A WEDDING IN DALLAS WITH TWENTY (20) BRIDEMAIDS
Actually there were three official Bridesmaids and 17 houseguests, all wearing Champaigne dresses in different styles. Two Clever Chicks did an amazing job converting the Ballroom at the Four Seasons Resort in Dallas from a venue for a lawyers convention into a cool and relaxing night club for 300 guests. The painting was a gift from the Parents.

This was the first wedding reception to be held in the Ballroom at the new Four Seasons in Baltimore - and it was superb !! The sound quality was amazing and the band sounded TERRIFIC !!

Painted live as it was happening at Cescaphe Ballroom in Northen Liberties. The Bride wore antique lace and the Groom sported a black bowtie with white polka dots. Colors were neutrals and palest pink - setting off the beautiful old mahogany Tall Boy Bar. The Band was Jelly Roll and the party was rocking !! Video by CinemaCake.

Lots of grandparents and a great grandparent all together for this family portrait commissioned by the Groom's parents - for themselves !! Philadelphia has lovely historic buildings and this wedding painting took me to a reception in the Ballroom at the Ben, aka The Benjamin Franklin Building at 9th and Chestnut - another stunnng venue for Finley Catering, with their acclaimed event planner Lauren Weber. At this time of the year, the Ballroom is decorated for the hoidays ... with snowflakes projected on the ceiling. A beautiful setting for painting a day in this family's history !

Live Wedding Painting: Ballroom, Grand Colonial, Hampton NJ: The Groom proposed in a hot air balloon, and there was one tethered at the end of thedriveway - so I included it in the reception painting with the Bride's young neice and nephew. The Bride's birthday is Valentine's Day, so I made the weights on the balloon in the shape of red hearts.
